How does RhinAer® work?

What is RhinAer®?

Rhinaer® is a temperature-controlled tool that is clinically proven to treat chronic runny nose, post-nasal drop, nasal congestion, or constant throat clearing. This minimally invasive, in-office procedure uses radiofrequency energy to reduce chronic rhinitis symptoms- without incisions or significant downtime.

Does RhinAer® hurt?

No! RhinAer® is painless. We apply topical anesthetic to the inside of the nose before beginning the procedure. While the RhinAer® device is being used you may feel some slight pressure or warmth.

Unlike cryotherapy procedures, RhinAer® does not create the cold sensation that can occasionally produce a temporary "brain freeze" headache.

Most patients return to normal daily activities immediately following treatment.

Will I still need nasal medications after the surgery?

Many patients experience significant improvement in chronic rhinitis symptoms following RhinAer® treatment, allowing them to reduce or eliminate their dependence on daily nasal sprays and medications.

Although individual results vary, improvement is often noticeable within several weeks, with continued symptom relief as healing progresses.
